Temple (Tim) is a business development specialist with extensive experience in leadership positions in several industries. Tim’s early career included managing a large construction project for Sunnybrook Hospital, before moving to academia at York University where he occupied several roles including Acting Dean of the Fine Arts Department. Several years later he joined York University’s administration and served as Director of Communications, Director of Development and Executive Assistant to the President. Tim later moved to India where he acted as Project Director for a large CIDA funded project in mass communications. He left academia in 1986, joining the Ontario Bar Association as Executive Director and COO, where he represented 15,000 lawyers and judges in the province of Ontario. In 1988 he joined the Toronto Construction Association as President and CEO – a position he held for almost 20 years. Tim’s efforts had an enormous impact on the growth of the association and he was awarded the TCA’s most prestigious award for his dedication. In 2006 Tim joined a leading national builder as Vice Chairman, focusing on business development and communications. Tim now brings years of experience and the respect of the industry as a whole to Gillam Group.
