Jeff is an experienced Project Director with 20 years’ project management and superintendent experience in the ICI construction & residential sectors, with numerous projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region and extensive knowledge of the local market. He has overseen a diverse range of projects, ranging from residential high rise condominiums, a water park, and post-secondary education buildings, including two buildings at the University of Waterloo; the Chemical Engineering Building and Quantum Nano Technology Research Facility, demonstrating his knowledge of building specifically on the University of Waterloo campus. He prides himself with having a no nonsense, cooperation & coordination first attitude and seeks to find intelligent resolution in conflict situations.
Jeff has led construction projects from beginning to end, from shoring and excavation to painting and landscape to fire alarm verification and occupancy. As well as many different styles including Lump Sum, Design Build and Construction Management.
Jeff will facilitate team integration between all disciplines and departments while providing oversight to ensure the construction team has the necessary tools and resources to meet and exceed the project’s objectives. He will oversee the establishment and management of cost, schedule and quality objectives, while providing direction and advice to the Gillam team members. Jeff will assert decision-making authority on behalf of the team both internally and externally.
