Since 1953, LOFT (Leap of Faith Together) has provided dignity and hope to individuals facing complex challenges.

LOFT currently operates 1,856 transitional and long-term housing units, providing a wide range of support services to its clients. Among these is Bradford House, a supportive housing site for at-risk seniors in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario.

Since 2012, LOFT has owned and operated Bradford House to address the housing and care needs of senior clients facing complex mental and physical health issues. There is an increasing demand for affordable and supportive housing for seniors and the current Bradford House is at full capacity. In response, LOFT is expanding its Bradford House program, and the Municipality of Bradford West Gwillimbury has generously donated a property located at 31 Frederick Street for this purpose.

Gillam was retained as the General Contractor for this new 99-unit affordable and supportive seniors’ housing building. Once completed, the new Bradford House will rise six storeys and span 4,380 square meters — doubling the capacity of its existing property —and will offer residents accessible, light-filled private suites, each with an en-suite washroom, kitchenette and living area.
