Irving Consumer Products is part of the J.D. Irving Limited, a family owned company that employs more than 15,000 people in North America and operates in a variety of business areas such as: forestry, food, ship building, transport and others. Irving Tissue manufactures North America’s leading tissue brands: Royale and Majesta in Canada and Scotties Facial Tissues in the USA as well as a number of private brands. Irving Tissue owns and operates an extensive manufacturing facility near Weston Road & Jane Street – in the west end of Toronto. Gillam Group was awarded a multi-faceted contract as part of the Wide Winder Project Expansion. The work included site services, excavation, backfill, concrete work, reinforcing steel, insulation, cladding, site grading and electrical works. The project also included renovations and alterations in the existing operating factory. The overall value of the work was approximately $10M.
